Peugeot announces the price of the new 308 , waiting at the next Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
As we anticipated, the new Peugeot 308 , based on the new platform EMP2, reduces weight by 140 kg, is characterized by compact dimensions (length 4.25 m and height 1.46 m), roomy cabin and cargo area particularly successful: well 470 liters under the rear parcel shelf.
Its i-Cockpit provides a compact steering wheel to feel intense dynamics, an instrument panel in a high position to read the information without taking your eyes off the road, a large 9.7'' touch screen that contains all the functions for the benefit of ergonomics and the clean style of the console.
From mid-October in conjunction with three petrol engines and two diesel
In Italy, the new Peugeot 308 will go on sale from mid-October in version 5-door sedan , with three petrol engines (1.2 VTI 82 hp three-cylinder, 1.6 THP 125 hp, 1.6 THP 155 hp) and two diesel : 1.6 e-HDi 115 bhp 1.6 HDi FAP Stop &Start; 92 hp FAP.
Four productions. The first level Access offers: ABS, ESP, REF (electronic brake distribution), EBA (emergency braking assistance), automatic lights of emergency in the event of sharp deceleration; LED daytime running lights, front airbags, side , the pull-down indicator of loss of tire pressure, refrigerated drawer slides, manual air conditioning, control and speed limiter, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, steering wheel adjustable for height and reach-adjustable driver's seat, trip computer with LED screen to white contrast.
Active , however, adds rear electric windows, dual-zone automatic climate control, Hill Assist (facilitates hill starts); regulator and speed limiter programmable detector obstacles posterior lumbar control on the driver's seat, adjustable passenger seat in height; touchscreen 9.7 "alloy wheels 16".
The next level Business adds touchscreen 9.7 "with integrated navigation and Peugeot Connect
(The latter available from January 2014); elbow rests rear center with ski tunnel, electrically folding exterior mirrors.
The top model, Allure , integrates with Active level: integrated navigation system, obstacle detector front, electric parking brake, lumbar adjustment for the front passenger seat, front sports seats (side reinforcements and sitting extendable) Full LED projectors with Integrated DRL, fog lights, alloy wheels 17 ".
As for the prices, for engines to petrol it starts from the entry level 1.2 Vti 82-CV proposal in setting Access to € 16,900 up to € 23,700 for the 1.6 THP 155 hp Allure.
On the diesel , however, we start from 19,700 € of 1.6 HDi 92 bhp Access, with the more powerful 115 bhp 1.6 HDi Stop & Start Allure proposal to 24,100 euro.
